Branches Rollout
The following parameters offer granular control over the ivy's surfaces, growth behavior, adhesion properties, and visual characteristics, giving you all the options you need to ensure that the plant interacts realistically with its surroundings.
Branches Configuration

Controls the mesh used to generate branches.
- Enabled: Toggles branch visibility on or off.
- Width Min and Max: Sets the smallest and largest possible diameter for branches
- Scale Range: Adjusts how the thickness reduces along the branch length (e.g. thicker at the base, tapering towards the tip).
- Sides: Defines the edge count for branch cross-sections.
- Material ID: Assigns a material ID to the branches.
- UVW Mapping: Configures UVW channel and scale settings, with support for real-world map sizes.
- Wind Animation → Strength: Defines the animation strength applied only to branches.
Note
- If you want to preserve the existing branch distribution while still adding motion, set Branches → Strength to 0. This way only the leaves animate.
- When wind animation is active, Growth → Death Distance is interpreted as the length of hanging branches, not the distance to the surface object.
